The Palataurus Research Center started in 2015 , as a results of a research project, still ongoing, thanks to the partnership between the Company Benicom, the University Scuola Superiore per Mediatori Linguistici Carolina Albasio, and the Master Course "Azioni e interazioni pedagogiche attraverso la narrazione e l’Educazione alla Teatralità" , Faculty of Sciences of Education of the University Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano, guided by Prof. G. Oliva.
The purpose of the Research Center is to become a place of institutional and cultural events, workshops and roundtables, and act as an aggregation center for education and information for the city of Lecco.
The Research Center, being a partnership between the academic system and the business world, aims at fostering awareness for all businesses regarding the relationship between culture, citizenship values and the economic context.
The desire is also to offer the territory lectures, congresses and initiatives, regarding the education to legality, opening collaborations with educational and cultural institutions, integrating various sets of competence, expertise and know-how, to stimulate an interdisciplinary approach.
In this scenario the Research Center aims to be a cultural and scientific hub that can bridge the gap between academic entities, social institutions and businesses.
